Because we only ever  produce/manufacture a small number of our products at one time,  we do not have any waste in the production process nor will any of our blankets end up in the landfill.  In addition, this also ensures exclusivity and a unique product. The whole process from the first ideas and drawings to the finished products takes a minimum of 6 months.We take care to look after the welfare of our skilled workers and their families and to preserve the ancient techniques of handblocked printing and hand quilting.

We are a female led company supporting our Indian counterparts.We have selected a female owned company to manufacture our products, whose mission it is to employ as many women as possible,empowering and inspiring them to build their own futures through education, employment and eventually self-employment, so their entire families can benefit.We donate a percentage from every sale to our charities in Jaipur, specifically chosen for their interest in educating women to give them an opportunity to make changes for the better.

We are still perfecting our zero waste and sustainable journey, it isn’t always easy to be a sustainable brand. We are constantly learning and choosing the more ethical and eco-friendly options, even if that means it may not be the most economical choice. Bedding that is made from sustainably products using less energy and carbon fuel . All our cotton is from Indian origin, and we are using the most environmentally friendly production process and azo free dyes.

All our Dohars and block printed quilts are packaged in matching branded cotton bags, with zero plastic packaging. They are then wrapped in undyed biodegradable tissue paper. Our compliments slips and stickers are printed on recycled paper.Our mailers and are biodegradable and compostable.
