I’ve just returned from an unforgettable trip to the Pink City—Jaipur—where I had the privilege of reconnecting with the incredible women of the PinkCity Rickshaw Company. Thanks to your generosity, I was able to hand over the donations we’ve collected together, and I can’t wait to share the magic of this experience with you.

The moment I arrived, I was swept up in the energy and determination of these remarkable women. They welcomed me with warm smiles and stories of their journey, and we set off on an inspiring tour of Jaipur. We wandered through the vibrant flower market, its colours and scents a feast for the senses, and paid a visit to the serene Krishna Temple, where the air hummed with peace. The highlight? Sipping masala chai from traditional terracotta cups at a bustling local chai shop—an authentic taste of Rajasthan that I’ll never forget.

But the real joy came from seeing the impact of your support firsthand. The PinkCity Rickshaw Company is thriving, and their growth is nothing short of inspiring. In Jaipur alone, we’ve purchased new rickshaws, and 30 ladies are now working regularly, with 60 enrolled in the program. And the excitement doesn’t stop there—expansion is on the horizon! Udaipur is gearing up to welcome 10 ladies into the fold, while Varanasi is already supporting 11. These women are not just driving rickshaws; they’re steering their lives toward independence and empowerment, and it’s all thanks to you.
